Applied Virtual Simulation Pty Ltd (AVS) acquires AFV Sim Ltd (AFV Sim)

Applied Virtual Simulation Pty Ltd (AVS) and AFV Sim Ltd (AFV Sim) are pleased to announce the acquisition of the business operations of AFV Sim by AVS.

This acquisition brings together two leading suppliers of specialised equipment and control grips for armoured vehicle simulation. The combined companies have 30 years of experience and expertise in the design and manufacture of specialised components for military customers worldwide.

Don Hawes, CEO of AFV Sim Ltd will remain with AFV Sim, and the company will continue to design, manufacture and support armoured vehicle control grips from their facility in Bedfordshire, UK. The Bedfordshire site will be supported by AVS mechatronics manufacturing facility, located in the Hunter region of New South Wales Australia.

This acquisition will significantly increase the support and manufacturing capacity of AFV Sim.
