Apache Tactical Trainer Capability Demonstrator

Our Apache Tactical Trainer Capability Demonstrator was designed to fit in between the training requirements of a full-fidelity pilot trainer sim and a low-fidelity generic helicopter sim. Our objective, not too dissimilar to our Protected Mobility Tactical Trainer (PMTT), is to offer a more affordable tactical-trainer solution that allows trainees to network multiple AH-64 simulators together and allow for tactical scenario-based training.

We worked closely with Netherlands based company MultiSim to achieve our objective of creating a full Mixed-Reality (MR) Apache sim using the Varjo XR-3 as the HMD. Our full medium-fidelity cockpit lends itself well to the MR medium, with all switches, screens and MPD's fully operational within Multisim's D-Sim AH-64 simulation model.

SEEMLESS COMMON SIMULATION SOFTWARE INTEGRATION

The Apache Capability Demonstrator is designed to integrate effortlessly with the CSS,, enhancing interoperability and providing a unified training platform. This connection enables synchronized data exchange and scenario management, ensuring trainees experience a cohesive and realistic tactical environment while maximizing the effectiveness of their training sessions.
