Malaysian Army with Advanced Joint Fires Observer (AJFOT) training system

Another great example of a low-cost high impact training system - AVS supplied the Malaysian Army with an Advanced Joint Fires Observer training system based off our integrated virtual binoculars which are for visualization, enabling trainees to conduct accurate call-for-fire missions, either by sight or with an integrated laser range finder.

This state-of-the-art training with the Malaysian Artillery regiment was run with scenarios ranging from one battery and mortar fire to full regimental artillery fire. This system is providing training that was not possible in the past.

Students ranged from Forward Observers, mortar platoon members from infantry and Battery command with the portable AJFOT unit allowing far out units training opportunity in unit location.
